What types of contracts are offered?
The Gregg & Rains Building Group is proud to offer flexibility when it comes to contracts for you, the custom homebuyer. Our relationships with lending institutions allows us to assist your family to obtain financing for fixed price contracts as well as a “cost-plus a fixed fee” option for building a home. We gladly help our customers choose the best scenario for building your personalized home.
Can I bring my own house plan?
Yes, we welcome your floor plan and with your permission we will be glad to offer our advice.
Does Gregg & Rains Building Group have floor plans we can use?
Yes we do but more importantly we can fine-tune the plans in our library to meet your exact needs. If you do not see a plan for you, no problem, we work with several local architects and draftsmen that can design any custom home of your dream.
Can Gregg & Rains Building Group build on our lot?
Absolutely. We would love to be involved as early as possible to help with site planning, layout, and coordination of utilities and services to the building site.
What are the financial requirements or options?
There are a couple of options available when building with G&R. First, owner financing where you the client bring your own financing to the project. Whether it’s cash or a construction loan we work with either. A second option would be that G&R finance the construction through one of our lending institutions. Typically, when G&R finances the project, we would require a larger down payment.
